Capo notes. If you want to use the chords above and play along with John Denver's official version, you'll need a capo on the 2nd fret. Without a capo, you'd need to use chords in the key of A to play along with John Denver (which makes a bit tougher, since a barre chord is needed for F#m).

Notes: - You really need two guitars, one for the chords and one for the various riffs, but if you're singing then you can leave the riffs out and concentrate on the chords. - All the riffs have been tabbed out for a non-capoed guitar but they're probably easiest to play in the form I've put them in. Capo on 2nd fret Am D G C C/B D/F#
This is definitely a little bit more of an intermediate to advanced song only due to the plethora of guitar used here. We got lots of barre chords and lots of diminished chords and just a whole bunch of variety with a key change and everything. Wow! Capo at the 2nd Fret. Intro: Em A Em A Em A Em A D Bm D Bm D |F#dim B7| Em. Chorus:
D G C Cmaj9 Am Look around you all you see are sympathetic eyes. E7 D Stroll around the grounds until you feel at home. [Chorus 1] G Em And here's to you, Mrs. Robinson. G Em C D Jesus loves you more than you will know. Whoa, whoa, whoa. G Em God bless you please, Mrs. Robinson. G Em C Am Heaven holds a place for those who pray.
Place the capo on the first fret, and you'll get F, A#, D#, G#, C, and F. Move that capo to the second fret, and you'll get F#, B, E, A, C#, and F#. It's like having a permanent barre in place along whatever fret you put it on, and you can place it wherever you need for the song that you're playing.
